Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 in Meadville (Pennsylvania) was born to Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, and Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone began second grade in kindergarten when she was five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. She graduated in 1975. She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to take on a modeling job and signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Then, she moved to Europe and spent a full year living in Milan and Paris. Stone unhappy with the fashion industry within Europe took up acting while living in Europe. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film was met with mixed reactions.
