The actress can also be seen in Tyler Perry's smash film, Why Did I Get Married? with Janet Jackson and Tyler Perry as well as Janet Jackson, as well as the upcoming indie films Frozen Peas and Born Guilty. In addition, she was in Shattered! Never Die Alone and American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha upon her graduation. Keesha began her career on stage after graduating from Cum Laude Conservatory with an B.F.A. She performed in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the interactive comedy Eat the Runt. Other theatrical performances included Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. As well as her performance both on stage and screen, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" and the short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is involved in several projects she's working on including Clean The Brit & Broken Doll. She is at present working on her debut full-length album after her hit record "Santa Baby."
